Britcar 500 Champions 2009

The Topcats Runnymede Mosler left English shores yesterday to head for the Belgian circuit of Zolder with hopes to emerge victorious amongst a field of international entrants in the Zolder 24hr race this weekend. Andrew Beaumont, driver and owner of the Mosler Mt900GT3 has selected a stellar driving squad to co-pilot his car during the historic race.

Revered drivers and multiple race winners Ben Clucas and Phil Keen head the line-up alongside Clucas’s Britcar 500 winning co-driver, Pat Gormley.  If everything goes to plan this driving squad will be the team to beat.

The race starts at 4.00pm on Saturday. The team will be supported by a dedicated contingent of Brits who make the journey to enjoy the excitement and atmosphere of perhaps one of the most spectator friendly events on the motorsport calendar.

If you have booked your ferry ticket to take in all that the Zolder 24hr race has to offer, come and see the Topcats Racing team and they’ll happily exchange a cup of tea and a biscuit for some good old patriotic flag flying!

For those that haven’t booked a ferry ticket this weekend, look out for our race report next week!
