Both Marcos Mantis GT cars will be competing for the trophy and this race, which starts at 5.00pm, could be the decider for the class championships of which both cars (Class GT2 and GT3) are very much in with a shout. Joining the team for the first time this weekend is Sam Head, who has joined the team having campaigned the championship in the Glynnsport TVR Sagaris, which will be absent from this weekend’s round. He will be partnering Owen O’Neill in the GT3 Marcos and hopes to help secure the championship for the team.
Neil Huggins and Raphael Fiorentino hope to seal the GT2 championship this weekend too, but the predicted wet weather conditions will make things more tricky considering they will be disadvantaged compared to their ABS and traction controlled championship rivals.
A big grid for the penultimate race of the season will guarantee plenty of excitement and surely the brave will prosper.
