Jones to drive No. 36 MarcosTopcats Racing are pleased to announce their three new drivers, who will join consummate drivers of the team, Owen O’Neill, Neil Huggins and Kyle Tilley for the season opener at Silverstone this Saturday, 24th March.

Dan Jones will bring his own brand of endurance racing experience having won at the 2011 Dubai 24hr Race and 5th in the Bel Touring Car 12hr Race in the same year.

Jones has already sampled the cut and thrust of Britcar Endurance racing having competed in the Britcar 24hr Race last year too and was leading the class until a mechanical failure ended his chances of a win.

Jones will pair up with Tilley, who is making a welcome return this year, in the No. 34 Class 2 Marcos Mantis. Team faithfuls, Huggins and O’Neill will unite in the No.35 sister Class 2 Marcos Mantis.

Cool Supercopa (in urban cool setting)

As if competing in three of the classes in last years Britcar Endurance Championship wasn’t enough. The team are embarking on a new challenge this year with a SEAT Supercopa driven by former rally ace Clive Bailye,  who cut his teeth in circuit racing last year in the Mazda MX5 Championship. He will be racing in Class 2 of the Britcar Production Cup Championship. Although  having only tested once in the car, the team are confident they will adapt quickly and pose a serious challenge for the title.

We would like to wish all our drivers an exciting and successful 2012 season.
