Topcats Racing dominated the Britcar Endurance Championship race at Oulton Park this weekend not only by virtue of their visible presence; the team ran 3 cars in the 3 hour long enduro, but because the team took the lion’s share of the trophies for both overall and class win positions.
Drivers, Posh and Becks, were certainly A-list status after a superb race at Oulton Park at the weekend. Both drivers, neither having driven Oulton Park before, did not appear to be a major threat to main class rivals Ashton/Howard in their Ginetta G40 and the Honda Integra of Ainge and Jordan after they qualified 3rd in class behind them. Last weekend’s Britcar GT Endurance Race saw the return of three drivers to to the Topcats Racing team. Joining full season campaigner, Owen O’Neill was Sam Head who has returned to the racing seat for the first time this season.

Inconspicuous duo Bailye and Black aka Cagney and Lacey did their best to pull rank this weekend. They managed to qualify 8th overall and 3rd in class behind arch rivals Ainge/Jordan (2nd in class) and class pole sitters, Howard/Breeze despite being laden with a hefty weight penalty deemed necessary by the authorities to reign in their success rate this season.
