Sam Head departs one British marque to join Topcats Racing in another. After an illustrious few years racing TVR’s, Head has confirmed that his racing seat will now be in the rival Marcos Mantis Class 2 race car.
Topcats Racing are pleased to announce that Sam Head, who put on a good show for the team in the penultimate round of Britcar at Donington last year, has confirmed he will be campaigning a full season with the team in a bid to win the championship this year in the Marcos Mantis.
Head wants to up the profile in his racing career and to win the championship in Britcar would allow him to reach a level that will satisfy his competitive nature. Head spent many years racing on two wheels in motocross, then moving on to four wheels in a TVR Tasmin, winning the TVR championship in 2007. Head upgraded to a Tuscan Challenge race car and won the TVR Championship in 2009. Head went on to race the Glynnsport TVR Sagaris in 2010.
We would like to wish him all the best for this season.
