We are pleased to finally announce our Saturday Club dates for 2015. There are fewer dates than we had hoped as we have a very busy race calendar this year. In addition to the V8UK Full Power Launch on the 12th April and another event which is under wraps at the moment for 31st May, we are excited to invite you all to the following events:
Saturday Club 9am-1pm : 4th July Topcats Club Silverstone Trackday : Monday 10th August* Saturday Club 9am-1pm : 26th September Saturday Club 9am-1pm : 31st October
Our Saturday Club events will be themed with different, interesting activities and features for visitors.
* our Trackday event will be planned around the input we receive from those that would like to participate and will include drivers own cars on track / fast lap rides / driving our race cars on track / instruction / team support / consensus on amount of track time for drivers depending on costs. At this point we would appreciate your opinion on whether this is something you would be interested in doing and what you would like to do / how you would like to see the day arranged. For those that book and wish to have their cars noise tested and inspected we could arrange this to be done at the Saturday Club event in July or by prior arrangement. More details will be available as we plan them so look out for our updates. We look forward to seeing many of you this year!
Topcats Racing are pleased to announce their three new drivers, who will join consummate drivers of the team, Owen O’Neill, Neil Huggins and Kyle Tilley for the season opener at Silverstone this Saturday, 24th March.
Last years 24hr squad
Topcats Racing are delighted to announce that their Japanese driver squad from last year’s Britcar 24hr race will be making a very welcome return to the team to challenge for the coveted title this year.
The Topcats Racing team were ecstatic yesterday when all three of their cars crossed the line after a gruelling 24hr race dominated by heavy rain which started in the first half an hour of the race and remained relentless to the chequered flag.
Ben Clucas, driving the Topcats Racing Runnymede Mosler in the Dutch Supercar Challenge at Silverstone GP is all over the back of Martin Short’s ‘Development’ works Mosler, but, oh boy, does Short’s new aerodynamic kit make his car pull away down the straights. Clucas finally makes a ‘do or die’ maneouvre to get past and makes it stick.
sales-i and Topcats Racing have forged a strong and successful partnership since being introduced at the beginning of 2009 when, sales-i co-founder, Paul Black got to experience, first hand, one of Topcats Racing’s ‘Race Car Experiences’ at Silverstone. Director, Charlotte Gilbert, said, “Such was the enthusiasm and ‘drive’ shared between Paul Black and the team that plans were implemented to interlink our services with theirs”.
Team, drivers, partners and supporters of the Topcats Runnymede Homes Mosler had much to celebrate as the chequered flag fell to mark the end of an historic and highly memorable Britcar 500 race.
From the start, the Topcats Mosler was the car to beat as the Ben Clucas and Pat Gormley duo secured pole for the race, albeit just 10th’s of a second separating the leading three Moslers. Regular driver and owner of the Runnymede Homes Mosler, Andrew Beaumont, had decided to take a different role for the race and join the team strategists in the pit garage. 2nd place on the grid went to Le Mans driver, Calum Lockie and his co-driver Paul White and in 3rd spot, Mosler specialist, Phil Keen and his co-drivers, McInerney Jr. & Sr.
